Business Plan Production Objectives
A production function exists whenever you are producing something other than a service, it is the process of producing something and bringing it to a finished good(s) state and a marketable state. Even if you are producing a service you will need to consider the process of developing that service to a marketable state. 1. Production capacity. Provide the details of factory plant and equipment to be used in the manufacturing process. 2. Output levels. Prepare a schedule of monthly production output for each year of the plan this is a critical success factor. 3. Production method. Indicate what production method will be used, including planned production process time. 4. Production quality controls. Describe what methods will be adopted to ensure the desired final product quality is achieved to meet the overall manufacturing objectives.
